Ball, ball, and more ball

We have CUTE new pharamacy/gift shop/ice cream parlor/ burger place in town.  We decided to try out the lunch menu.  Fancy loved his burger.  He said it was the best in town!

Bit has BEGGED for a mullet for a LONG time.  That was like the discussion in almost every conversation we had for months.  I finally caved.  I mean if you want to look ridiculous with a mullet, so be it!

He couldn't be prouder!

We have since cut the mullet more.  He has more of a mulletish look now.

As if we don't have enough going on, we signed Sister up to play softball.  I was on team "NO" about her playing and I lost.  Ohhhhh but she loves it!

The boys play ball on the weekends and we are so glad for sweet friends who can play with Annie.

Sweet Mrs. Allison came to watch Annie play a game.  We love kindergarten!

3K-5K went to the zoo so I decided to take my third graders.

Ford played a tournament in Tupelo.  In between games we had some time to kill so we went to where it all began for Elvis!!!

Easter 2021

The kids went to Miss Taylor's house one day.  She put them to work painting some chairs.  I think they love to paint.

Bitty has a bucket list.  It's comprised of some "odd" items.  He really wanted to see a camper and a big rig.  I thought and thought and finally it dawned on me that our eye doctor had a camper.  I sent her a message requesting that Bitty peek inside of her ride.  They not only let him peek, but they took us on a hour ride.  HE WAS THRILLED!!!!!!

I hid eggs for the kids.  Annie was super pumped.  The boys, not so much.  I changed the tune to their beat when I said there were 3 golden eggs with MONEY in them.

Ten Years Down and the Eggs

Fancy's year #10 in the legislature came to a close about a month ago.  Him being in Jackson the first part of the year has become a norm for us.  It does, however, take a tole on everyone.  He is back and forth for three months while I try to hold the fort down.  Well, the night he came home Bitty gave him a welcome home present!

Our school has Easter egg hunting parties.  I decided to take the day off so I could enjoy being a momma and not Mrs. Lamar- the teacher.  It was COLD!!!!!  Annie's was first at the park.

They had to bring 12 eggs.  The eggs had to be numbered `1-12.  She had to find an egg with each number on it.  It took a hot minute.


Daddy showed up since the hunt was at the park by his office.

Next, I ran to the school to grab Bitty and we headed to Cedar Hill Farm for his egg hunt/field trip.
