One of my favorite weeks of the summer is always VBS. Faye Walley and I have been teaching third and fourth-graders for years. It's a long week, but I am always sad when it ends.
I was happy my boys got to help after football.
22 youth got pied for raising over $2,200 for missions.
Trey won a legislative award for all his work in helping Senatobia's Main Street.
Bitty, formerly known as John Brantley, is 14 today!!! It’s hard to believe that my 8 pound 12 ounce baby is growing up on me.
To know Bit is to love him. He’s got more common sense than most adults I know, he’s smart as a whip and has a comeback quicker than you can get the words out of your mouth. He knows what he wants and is determined to have his way. He loves the outdoors and all things fishing and hunting. He likes watching videos that teach him life skills. He can probably cook better than me.
If you’re in his corner, he will love and protect you fiercely. He’s happiest at home with his family and dogs. He’d rather go to the lake than Disney World and the mountains over the beach.
He loves Jesus, his family, his friends, sports, hunting, fishing, Duck Dynasty, popsicles, meat, Tuck and Rooster, being at home, pink propel, 4 wheelers, picking on Annie, El Charro, skiing, swimming, go carts, pocket knives, hats, ponchos dip, clean sheets, and hugs from his momma.
He wants to be an Ophthalmologist, live in the country with his dogs and family.
He amazes me daily. There’s really no telling what this child will do in his lifetime, but I’m glad I have a front row seat to see it. I’m thankful to be his mom and get to be loved by him.
Happy 14th birthday to Bit!!!!
