Mardi Gras Coast Style

Did you know that NO ONE wants to keep 3 kids?   You got one... people will fight over one.   Two....kind of got to ask nicely.   Three....nope.   No one wants three.  So when Trey and I want to go somewhere we gotta start early enlisting help.   

We were invited to go to the coast for Mardi Gras and to attend a Mardi Gras ball.   

I dropped the kids off at school and headed south.   I scooped Trey up in Jackson and then we proceeded to Hattiesburg to have luncch for Jamie's birthday.

He needed to talk on the phone...

We made it to Ocean Springs..... it is a precious town.


We stayed at The Spring which was a swanky, new hotel.   We got dressed and headed to the ball in Pascagoula.   Wouldn't you know out of 1,200 people that I was dressed like Missy.

Saturday we had breakfast and then beaded back to Pascagoula for Mardi Gras.

Uncle Ken took the boys to a baseball and basketball while we were gone.

The Lady Shooters won their game on Saturday and will advance to the championship. 

And She Turned Ten

Life has been back to nornmal following the ski trip.   

Ford came home all excited about his oriental fan he was "given" in the cafeteria.   Ummm that's a hrd NO.   He bought two helpings of food and spent so much they gave it to him.  Nothing is free.

I was helping Bitty study one night.   I told him if he got the answer wrong I was going to pull his toe.

It "snowed" two days after we got home!

So we stayed inside and baked...

I like when people send me pictures of my man from Jackson.   Here he was speaking on behalf of The Main Street Associations. 

In Bitty's reading class they studied poetry.   He had to work on a poetry portfolio.   He was super excited to share all of his oringinal pieces with me!

Baseball season has begun for Bitty's team....

My sweet girl turned TEN on February 23.

Annie is all things sweet.   She is my best buddy and my ride or die.  She is strong willed and tender hearted.   She is a best friend and great teammate.   She has so many friends and loves them fiercely.  I am proud of her everyday.
